Description

The Pelvic Floor Basics Workshop is a workshop that every woman should take (ESPECIALLY new moms) because it teaches basic but important information about how the pelvic floor functions and how that relates to exercise. Whether lifting weights at the gym or lifting a baby off of the floor, we need our pelvic floor to be coordinated, strong, and kick in at the right time. Understanding how the pelvic floor functions with your breath and movement can make all of the difference to avoid incontinence (leakage) and prolapse (organs falling out of place) in the long term. Taking the time to retrain your pelvic floor is a crucial and often forgotten step in postpartum recovery! Whether you are 6 weeks postpartum, 6 months, 6 years, or 36 years postpartum! If you are a woman that leaks, feels heaviness, feels weak, or disconnected with your pelvic floor then this workshop is the step you need to take to regaining your control. Dedicate some time and some mindful movement to your postpartum recovery. You won’t regret it!

This 90-minute, in-person workshop includes a Mama’s Milestones notebook to record your individual assessment results, goals, exercises, modifications, and important takeaways. All workshops are personalized based on your responses on the intake form.

The Pelvic Floor Basics Workshop is ideal for:
