Hi! I'm Dr. Stevi Snook PT, DPT
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a pregnancy and postpartum exercise specialist, a yoga instructor, and a new mom!
I created Mama's Milestones because I saw a clear need for moms to access basic, easy-to-understand, evidence-based postpartum information. As a new mom myself, I know firsthand how overwhelming and stressful the postpartum journey can be. That’s why I’m here to simplify it for you. Research shows that learning the fundamentals of pelvic floor health can significantly improve bladder control, reduce the risk of pelvic organ prolapse, enhance sexual function, heal diastasis recti, and improve overall quality of life. A little knowledge can make a world of difference!
Mama's Milestones workshops aim to educate moms on pelvic floor basics and postnatal exercise safety. Workshops allow a larger community of women to access this important information. Plus, it's always more fun when you have other mamas around to support you!

I hope that you feel powerful after having a baby. Our bodies just did the most incredible thing! And we went through A LOT to get those babies here!
After we accomplish this beautiful trauma (...because yes..it absolutely is a trauma to our body) we are given little to no instructions on how to retrain this new body! We are given little to no guidance on basic women’s health strategies that could help us.
The information taught in pelvic floor therapy should not be a secret. It should be standard practice to learn simple strategies to avoid leaking and other “womanly” problems. This is a missing piece in our healthcare system. Mama's Milestones hopes to help bridge that gap.
A New Approach to Postpartum Recovery
At Mama’s Milestones, we pair pelvic floor education with yoga because it just makes sense! Movement and education go hand in hand. The integration of both allows moms to receive crucial, actionable information in a relaxed, fun, and supportive setting. Not only will you learn about your body, but you’ll also have the chance to practice what you learn in real-time with personalized cueing to ensure you feel empowered and confident.
The Importance of Postpartum Exercise
Exercise is essential to getting back to feeling like yourself. Whether you love it or not, safe, intentional movement is key to improving your function and healing your body after childbirth. Retraining your abdominals, back, pelvic floor, and breath is vital in your postpartum recovery. Get back to exercising KNOWING that you are setting yourself up for success.
